Raising Donor Kids is a project to advance reproductive equity by providing meaningful support to same-sex parents considering gamete donation as a means of building a family. Our platform presents the first-hand experiences of children conceived via gamete donation and raised by same-sex parents, as well as curates relevant research and resources in hopes of streamlining the family planning process. At RDK, our main goal is to provide guidance to same-sex couples hoping to start a family.

By lending visibility into the unique experiences of those who were conceived through gamete donation and raised by same-sex parents, we hope to provide reassurance to same-sex couples and help them make informed decisions about their future families.

RDK's primary objective is to share the lived experiences and stories of individuals conceived via gamete donation to better support same-sex couples in the family planning process. In accordance with this goal, we've created a database of interviews with individuals conceived via gamete donation to lend insight into their thoughts and perspectives.
